The Yamaha XT is a twin-valve single cylinder enduro adventure motorcycle. It appeared in Europe in the summer of 1976 and was an instant hit. Going through many incarnations and engine sizes, the XT or Tenere or Serrow, has been a popular bike with dual purpose handling which makes it suitable for many forms of riding, both on and off road. It was produced for many years and is still in production in 2022 as the XT250.
