The Kawasaki VN Vulcan first took to the road in 1984 and is still alive and kicking today. Throughout its lifespan the VN has had, mostly, V-twin engines ranging from 125 to 2,053 cc. It's a custom or touring bike which has remained fundamentally pretty much unchanged, despite being in production for over 22 years with Kawasaki applying the 'if it ain't broke don't fix it' principle. It has had many variationsand model names VN: Classic, Classic LT, Drifter, Meanstreak, Voyager, Vaquero and Nomad.
