Thanks Jurby T-shirt Buyers
Grand total revealed
You've been there, done that, got the t-shirt – but what was it all for?
We've been selling our charity Jurby T-shirts through our website and at shows such as the Festival of Jurby. Trying to raise money for the MGP Supporters' Club to help fund its life-saving helicopter ambulances at the Isle of Man.
The club relies solely on donations to run its service, providing medical staff and equipment during practice weeks and race days. Its helicopter is essential in that it can access otherwise hard to reach parts of the TT course, and in a matter of minutes.
2015 (LEFT) & 2016 (RIGHT) FESTIVAL OF JURBY T-SHIRTS
We came up with a new design – one which sported the Triumph Tiger 100 ridden by Ernie Lyons in his famous 1946 Manx Grand Prix win. We had the t-shirt signed by John McGuinness and other racing legends. Then you lovely lot helped us by buying one.
And the result? On Sunday 16th October at the Stafford Classic Motorcycle show, we revealed the grand total raised through sales of the 2016 Jurby T-shirts:
£16,258.48
2016 CHECK AT STAFFORD SHOW
So, to everyone who bought a t-shirt, or who helped spread the word, thank you so much. We look forward to doing it all again with a new t-shirt design in 2017.

26/10/16 - Rather fitting example as when the jurby festival was on, someone was taken ill, the helicopter came out of the clouds from the distance, straight to jurby and help arrived promptly, couldn't have been a better demonstration of why the t shirts are worth buying.
