May Day Revolution!
Revolution Motorcycle Show, Hastings, 30/4/16 - 2/5/16
John Newman
Thousands of riders will head for the south coast on Monday, 2nd May, to Hastings, where thousands gather on the sea front for what has become the popular date in the early-year schedule.
This year, Revolution is in the air. It's the title of a show being held from 30th April to 2nd May, organised by three bike builders, Robin Johnson, Jake Robbins and Shaun Fenton, who describe themselves as artisans and craftsmen. And looking at their bikes on the
show website, it would be churlish to disagree.
The show is being held in the old Observer newspaper building, right in the town centre. Over forty bikes will be featured over the building's three floors, as well as wall-to-wall motorcycle art and photographs. Vendors, including Wemoto, will display and sell their motorcycle wares.
If you do need an incentive to fire up the bike and get down there, this should be it. The online preview looks very promising. The show is open from 10.00am – 6.00pm and tickets cost £8 for day entry or £20 for the three-day entry.
For those not able to get there, Wemoto news will post a full report.
