Who doesn't know and love the Honda CB motorcycle in one of its forms? Well now, recently launched in India, there's a new kid on the block – the Honda Highness CB350 – CB royalty no less!

There's no doubting its appeal - a majestic motorcycle, maybe styled on the old 1970s CBs - combining advanced modern features with classic old-world good looks. It is a larger bike than its earlier incarnations, really with proportions more akin to the CB 500 than the original 350.
Its retro styling should appeal to many but it has a wealth of modern technology to bring it up to date. It has a built in Smartphone Voice Control System (HSVCS), Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) Real Time Mileage, Assist and Slipper Clutch to name but a few of it's technological features.

To add to the stylish retro look, it has nice big shiny chrome mudguards, a classic round LED headlamp and tail light with Fire Ring Type LED indicators. At the heart of the Highness, in the double cradle frame, sits the 348cc long-stroke 20.7 horsepower engine - 22 lb-t of torque with a five speed transmission.

Sitting on 19 and 18 inch wheels with a single 310 mm front disc and 240 mm rear and standard ABS with a telescopic front fork and pair of shocks at the back.

The motorcycle comes as a base level Deluxe (DLX) with Honda’s Selectable Torque Control (HTSC), LED lighting, assist and slipper clutch, and a hazard function. Or you can opt for the higher spec Deluxe Pro (DLX Pro).
If you choose the base level DLX  machine – well if you live in India that is – it comes in Precious Red Metallic, Matte Marshal Green Metallic or Pearl Night Star Black. If you opt for the DLX Pro you get Bluetooth thrown in and the colours are two tone – nice – just like my old CB 125 back in the day (the colour that is, not the Bluetooth) :D!

So far her royal Honda Highness CB350 is only available in India – shame! Let's hope it makes its way here, it sounds fab and looks cool and we'd like a go on one!
