Good news for Norton

New export deal with Japan

Image
Amidst all the uncertainty and negativity surrounding Brexit, Norton has signed a £20 million export deal with Japan.

1,000 Norton motorcycles are set to be sold to Japanese customers over the next five years, supporting 200 jobs in the UK.

The deal is part of a new £200 million economic partnership agreed by Shinzō Abe, Japanese Prime Minister, and Theresa May. Norton is one of the lucky companies to benefit.

Comments:

16/01/19: The EU has agreed a multi billion trade deal with Japan which the UK will now miss out on. The UK poor will miss the EU but it probably won't effect the super wealthy.

16/01/19: the funny thing is, they think they can trade with rest of world, where EU has already started negotiations, so there up against a much bigger market straight away. They also forget that logistically these "countries" are also the other side of the world
