Another interesting visitor at Wemoto
Norton Commando
A nice gleaming yellow Norton Commando ex-production racer came by today. The owner has had it for about 3 years and has been restoring it during that time. It's clearly been a labour of love and he has done a beautiful job. He doesn't do a huge amount of miles on it - he's only done about 600 miles this year so it is kept in pristine condition.
It really looked its best in the unseasonal but very welcome, warm October sunshine.
When the current owner bought it about three years ago it hadn't been run since 1978! Considering that it was made in 1972 it hadn't had much time on the road before its long rest until the present day.
