Despite only being two months in, 2021 has seen a whole host of new releases from a good few manufacturers. Perhaps the most eagerly awaited is the new Bonneville lineup. With the T100, T120, Street Twin, Bobber, and Speedmaster all getting revisions for this year.

Across the board, the new range gained the Euro5 certification to ensure they’re compliant with new emission laws going forward.

The most significant update on the T100 is the increase in engine performance with the new 900cc producing 9.8BHP more than its predecessor. The bike has also shed 4kgs in weight and the introduction of aluminium wheels, a new crank, a thin-walled clutch cover and magnesium cam cover have all helped towards that. The addition of twin-pot Brembo brakes, updated traction control and ABS system will help the bike handle much better whilst the new instrument dial face gives a slightly different view from the previous cockpit. The 2021 T100 will be available from March and will be around the £8,200 mark.

Like its little brother, the T120 has shifted 7kgs in weight over the previous model. Most of this has come from the engine mass with a lighter crankshaft, optimised clutch, and balancer shafts. Triumph states that this weight loss together with the engine's lower internal inertia provides a more immediate and responsive throttle. Both the T120 and T120 Black now come with Triumphs one-touch cruise control system as standard. The T120 range starts at £10,800 and will be available from April.

The Street Twin has a whole host of upgrades, with a thicker seat and new foam padding to give more comfort to the rider on longer journeys. Triumph have added their new cast wheels, brushed aluminum headlight brackets, new side panels and revised throttle bodies all make for a completely fresh look. A fantastic addition for newer riders is the option of an A2 kit.
If you’re looking for something a little more special then Triumph is now offering a limited edition Street Twin Gold Line. Limited to 1000 units worldwide this model comes in a Matt Sapphire Black paint scheme with hand-painted gold lining, brushed aluminium decals, and the Triumph heritage logo.
The entry-level Street twin, available in March will cost you £8,200 whilst the Gold Line, if you can get your hands on one, will set you back £8,800 and is available in May.

The new release of the Speedmaster sees revised engine updates with 78lb-ft torque at 3,850rpm the new Euro 5 compliant twin claims to produce over 90% of its torque up to 5,750 rpm. There is also another horse in the stable with an upgrade of 77bhp up from 76bhp.
You can expect the handling to have improved with the addition of new 47mm Showa cartridge forks but don’t worry Triumph hasn't forgotten about your comfort, both the rider and pillion seat has been given upgrades. The rider's seat offers more lumbar support and the pillion seat gaining an additional 11mm foam to make those long distances that little bit easier. This comfy cruiser will sit at the £11,850 mark and you’ll be able to get your mitts on it from March.

Triumph has seemingly combined their previous Bobber and Bobber black into one model. The 2021 Bobber has a fatter front end with its better-performing duel disk setup. Triumph says that the demand for the slimmer front wheel on the previous models just wasn't there, which is why they’re only offering the one model this year. With the chunkier front end comes upgraded suspension seeing 47mm non-adjustable front forks. One of the more note worth upgrades is the addition of a 12litre fuel tank, up from 9 litres this should provide you more than 160mile range.
The new Bobber range starts at £11,850 and will be available in March.

Now you may have noticed the lack of scramblers in this lineup. Well, don’t you worry Triumph have said that the new Scrambler XC, XE and Street Scrambler will be released on 13th and 20th April respectively?
